Free trials
Where a deployment offers one, the pricing page and the billing page show a trial badge and the button reads Start your free trial.
- A trial is once per workspace. If the workspace has ever had a subscription, on any provider, it is not eligible again.
- A payment method is collected up front. Nothing is charged during the trial; the first charge happens automatically on the day it ends.
- We email you when the trial starts, with the end date and the amount that will be charged, and again three days before it ends.
- Cancelling before the end costs nothing. Cancel from the billing page and the workspace drops to the free plan on the trial's last day.
If a trial ends without a payment, the workspace moves to the free plan and we say so by email. Your data stays where it is.
Promo codes
If you have a code, enter it in the Promo code field on the billing page above the plans, then choose your plan. Some providers let us confirm the code before you go to checkout, in which case you see the discount described straight away; others check it on the checkout page itself, and an invalid code is refused there.
A few things worth knowing:
- Codes apply at checkout, not to an existing subscription. If you are already subscribed and have a code, switch plans or contact us rather than starting a second subscription.
- A code may be limited to first-time customers, may expire, and may have a redemption limit. If it is refused, one of those is usually why.
/billing?code=YOURCODEopens the billing page with the code already filled in, which is handy for sharing.
Referral credit
Separate from promo codes, every member has a referral link under Settings → Refer a friend. When somebody signs up through it and pays for the first time, your workspace earns credit. Depending on the payment provider it comes off future invoices automatically or is settled for you by the team. See the referral page for your link and your balance.
