Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-09-01
These terms govern your use of Sandlayer (the "Service") operated by [Company legal name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
1. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secret.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
2. Workspaces and members
Content and data belong to the workspace they were created in. Workspace owners and admins can add and remove members and may access anything in the workspace. Leaving a workspace does not delete what you contributed.
3. Subscriptions and payments
- Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider on a recurring basis until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- One-time purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies at your next renewal.
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- upload malware or attempt to breach, probe or overload the Service;
- send spam or unsolicited messages through the Service;
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display it in order to run the Service. We do not sell your content or use it to train models.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. We may change or discontinue features; for material changes to paid features we will give reasonable notice.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may retain backups for up to 30 days after deletion. Sections that by their nature should survive (payments owed, liability limits) survive termination.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [jurisdiction].
